Nancy Marchiando Memorial Fund

We are excited to introduce the Nancy Marchiando Memorial Fund to the Sycamore community. Our mother, Nancy Marchiando, nee Heagy, was an avid supporter of all Sycamore activities, festivals and special events, and engaged in many altruistic acts for local residents. While raising four children, Nancy was enthusiastically engaged in school activities and Booster Club fund raising. As a successful small business owner, she helped others establish their small businesses in downtown Sycamore. Nancy was a founding organizer of the Miss Kishwaukee Valley Pageant and served as Sycamore City Clerk for four years working with city officials to improve the community. This fund, in partnership with the Beautification Committee, honors our mother’s passionate love for the City of Sycamore by beautifying the downtown area with seasonal floral creations. We hope residents and visitors enjoy “Sycamore in Bloom” and consider donating to the continued beautification of Sycamore, “Where “Life Offers More”.
