2019 Ward Meetings Announced – The Sycamore Police Department has announced its 2019 ward meeting schedule. These meetings are intended to give the residents of each ward an opportunity to meet with their local police officers and alderpersons to discuss city and neighborhood topics.
Administrative Tow Warning
A motor vehicle, operated with the permission, express or implied, of, that is used in connection with violations set forth in section 6-1-9A of the City Code, shall be subject to seizure and impoundment and the owner of record of that motor vehicle will be liable to the City for a five hundred dollar ($500.00) administrative penalty in addition to any towing and storage fees.
2″ Snowfall Parking Restrictions
It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle on any public street or in any city parking lot for a period of twenty four (24) hours following the accumulation of two (2) or more inches of falling snow. Any vehicle parked in violation of the prohibition against parking after snowfall is declared a nuisance and a hazard to public safety. The vehicle will be issued a $25.00 citation and will be towed at the expense of the owner of the vehicle.
